Host Members
Users can be assigned to hosts, to allow the users to view or administer the host.
Add User
To add a user as a member of a host, follow these steps:
-
Click the Hosts link in the app header.
-
Find the host in the list, and click the host’s name to view the host’s main status page.
-
Scroll down to the Users panel, and click the “plus” icon on the right side of the panel.
User
Select the user to add as a member to the host. You can type part of a name in the User field to filter the displayed list of users from which to choose. Use the up and down arrow keys to highlight a user from the list, and use the tab or enter key to select the highlighted user.
Type
Select the type of member to add:
- Admin
-
Admins may view and change all the settings for a host, and view all events associated with the host, including for all of the host’s interfaces and endpoints. This is the type of member to add in order to delegate full admin privileges for the host.
- Auditor
-
Auditors may view all the settings and events for a host, including for all of the host’s interfaces and endpoints, but they cannot change anything.
- Logger
-
This type is for Pro Custodibus agent users only; agents must either be a “Supervisor” or a “Logger”. Loggers may push WireGuard events from the host to the Pro Custodibus servers.
- Supervisor
-
This type is for Pro Custodibus agent users only; agents must either be a “Supervisor” or a “Logger”. Supervisors have the same privileges as Loggers do, but they may also access the configuration settings for the host on the Pro Custodibus servers (in order to apply them to the host).
- User
-
A “regular” user may just view the basic details of the host (like its name), and synchronize the preshared keys of its WireGuard connections. This is the type of member to add when the host is a client for WireGuard multi-factor authentication.
Edit User
To update the membership of a user that is already a member of the host, follow these steps:
-
Click the Hosts link in the app header.
-
Find the host in the list, and click the host’s name to view the host’s main status page.
-
Scroll down to the Users panel, and click the “pencil” icon corresponding to the user.
Type
Select the user’s membership type from the Type dropdown. See the Type section above for a description of each type.
Remove User
To remove a user from being a member of a host, follow these steps:

Click the Hosts link in the app header.
