Delete a Host

Deleting a host hides it from the Pro Custodibus UI. You can restore it if you know its Pro Custodibus ID or URL.

Deleting a host does not stop an agent running on the host from sending data to or receiving commands from Pro Custodibus. To do that, stop or uninstall the agent itself.

Delete

To delete an existing host, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Hosts link in the app header.

  2. Find the host in the list, and click its name to view its main status page.

  3. Click the “trashcan” icon on the right side of the Host panel.

  4. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click the OK button in the dialog to delete the host.

Restore

To restore a deleted host, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the host using a bookmark or saved URL to the host.

  2. Click the “trashcan-with-arrow” icon on the right side of the Host panel.

  3. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click the OK button in the dialog to restore the host.

  4. If you had stopped the agent running on the host, restart it (if you uninstalled the agent, set it up again).
